This summer, Faucher Academy is offering a solid, comprehensive program for every student. Our intensive schedule will provide first-rate instruction and engaging social activities for a wide range of students.

Summer School is recommended for all Faucher Academy students. The benefits of our summer program are felt each September as students return to their classes, emotionally energized and academically prepared.

Our summer program keeps the writing skills sharp, math skills progressive, and the mind active.

High School students taking advanced math or science courses are required to attend the summer program, as these classes begin their curriculum during summer school.

Chemistry is part of everyday life, and an excellent experience for the High School student, but it takes preparation and commitment. Join Miss Andrea as she takes you through lead-up skills necessary for Chemistry in the fall. This class is also an excellent prep course for students planning to take Physical Science. Chemistry Readiness is open to students outside of F.A. who wish to sharpen their skills and get ready for the coming academic school year.

HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL

Study Skills & Advanced Vocabulary Lab
Time management, goal setting, organizational skills and study methods are the basics of academic success. Keeping these skills sharp throughout the summer can mean the difference between "Just-Getting-By" and "Thriving" in school. Strong study skills, paired with a well-developed vocabulary, creates a stable foundation to build upon. Miss Rhew will guide students through the process.

Required of all students entering Faucher Academy Middle & High School programs in the fall, and "HIGHLY RECOMMENDED" for students currently attending
MIDDLE SCHOOL

Math Lab
Mathematical ability is an absolute requirement in today's society. Join Miss Rhew & Mr. Peters as they lead you on a mathematical quest toward making sense of Middle School Mathematical concepts. Approaching math as both a language and a skill, Miss Rhew & Mr. Peters will address students' strengths and weaknesses individually.

This is a "Required" course for new students, and a "Strongly Recommended" course for current students. Faucher Academy Middle School students will receive school-year credit for all math covered during Summer School. This gives them the opportunity to move ahead or strengthen skills as needed.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Writing Lab
Florie Gilbard adapts the Advanced Writing Lab curriculum to meet the needs of the Middle School writer, providing a personalized approach to writing well.

Students entering the Faucher Academy Middle School program are "Required" to take the Writing Lab. Current students are "Strongly Encouraged" to keep their writing skills sharp during the summer by taking this course.
