For some it's brand new, for others it's a reintroduction to the game they'd forgotten about. The benefits of chess are well documented, and we're glad to offer it to our students.

Visit the "Project Marla" page, the Faucher Academy Middle School's homage to abstract art. Our students were inspired to paint following the viewing of a film that documented child-artist Marla Olmstead's rise to fame. With no rules and a green light to create whatever they wish, the students are well on their way to expressing their artistic souls.
